This Wednesday I was at Berns salonger to attend Veckans Affärer’s super talent event. During the event, intelligent people discussed how companies can maintain their super-talents. It was an interesting afternoon, but more interesting still was the awards ceremony.
A week before the event, the picture editor at Veckans Affärer called me and requested my photo; he said that the size of the picture was not important as the image in the paper would be very small. I naturally concluded that I would not get a very interesting rating on the list. However, during the awards ceremony I noted that they handed out prizes in different categories, which increased my chances. Then suddenly, my name and a photo, which was anything but small, was shown on the big screen on stage. I was named Specialist of the Year for my work in the medical device industry:
» Ingenjör och ekonom som blivit medicinentreprenör. Högpresterande i tuff och svårforcerad bransch. Gantus möjliggör genombrytande innovationer, bland annat inom organtransplantation. Peter Sebelius har tidigare belönats med Stora Designpriset.”
